Originally from India, I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping you feel supported in becoming more fully yourself. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University and am currently pursuing postgraduate training in psychodynamic therapy as a Fellow at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center. My clinical training includes work across community mental health, school-based, and private practice settings.

Informed by psychodynamic and family systems frameworks, I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, life transitions, and questions of identity and belonging. Rather than focusing only on surface symptoms, I help you understand the deeper patterns and life experiences that shape how you feel and relate to others. My goal is to offer a warm, compassionate space where you can better understand your own emotional life and build meaningful, lasting change.

Offering therapy in English and Hindi, I bring a culturally attuned lens to my work, with a focus on couples, individuals navigating bicultural identities, and men dealing with relationship struggles and isolation. Before becoming a therapist, I trained in urban planning at MIT and spent a decade as an artisan bread baker. These experiences have shaped the patience, care, and attentiveness I bring in listening to you.

As an associate therapist, I work under the clinical supervision of Dr. Mariela G. Shibley, Psy. D. If something here resonates, I'd welcome the chance to talk.

* Associates are clinicians who hold an advanced degree in the mental health field and who work under the direct supervision of a licensed mental health professional. They have completed all coursework required for their degree and are accruing hours for licensure.
