No Surprises Act — Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care before your first appointment. This estimate will include the cost of services reasonably expected for your treatment.
If you are uninsured or choose not to use your insurance, you are entitled to request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services. If your final bill exceeds the Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you may dispute the charge.
