THE PROCESS
When beginning individual therapy, we normally spend the first few meetings getting to know you, understanding what's troubling you, and how we can best help. During this time, you will have a chance to form an impression of your therapist and together decide if you are a good fit for each other. Your therapist will then discuss recommendations for treatment and together you will decide on the frequency of your sessions. In general, most people schedule at least one 45 minute session per week . |
