I am an Afro-Latina psychologist from the Caribbean with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University, an APA-accredited program in Puerto Rico. My clinical experience spans a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, personality disorders, and psychotic spectrum disorders.
As an immigrant, I bring a deep understanding of cultural diversity to my practice. I effectively work with individuals from various backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community. I provide psychological assessments and psychotherapy for adults, couples, families, and young adults. My professional experience includes private practice, hospitals, correctional facilities, partial hospitalization programs, and schools.
